Special category data is Personal Data that needs more protection because it is sensitive. This includes Personal Data revealing your health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or ideological beliefs if any relevant to your medical care, genetic data, biometric data. As well as a person’s sex life; and a person’s sexual orientation. In order to lawfully process Special Category Data, it is necessary to consent to the processing.

What is processing?
"Processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon Personal Data, whether or not by automatic means. The term is broad and covers virtually any handling of data.

Data we collect automatically

Log data

The hosting service used by us for the purpose of operating our website is Wix.com LTD. In doing so Wix.com LTD, processes all data to be processed in connection with the operation of this website, including log files on our behalf. Content Management System
We use the Content Management System (CMS) of Wix.com LTD, to publish and maintain the created and edited Content and texts on our website. This means that all content and texts submitted to us by users for publication is transferred to Wix.com LTD. In addition to texts, this also includes, for example your data in our forms. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest.

Content Delivery Network
We use Wix.com LTD`s Content Delivery Network (CDN) to distribute our online content. Wix.com LTD`s CDN is a network of regionally distributed servers of our technical service providers connected via the Internet. When our website is visited, your device`s browser transmits information to these service providers, which is collected in corresponding server log files. Server log files are generally anonymized and then transmitted without any personal reference. Server log files include, in particular, i) details of the browser and operating system used, ii) the previously visited pages (so-called referral URL), iii) the IP address of the device used, iv) the name of the Internet provider, as well as v) the date, time of all page views including the amount of data transmitted. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest.

The provision of payment details is subject to our payment processor and does currently not take place through our website. The legal basis for the data processing is the fulfilment of our contractual obligations and the fulfilment of our legal obligations.

Where information to be shared is relevant and appropriate for your ongoing direct care with following: GPs, other hospitals, other clincians, health care providers, independent practitioners, insurance companies, and other relevant organizations wherever there is legitimate reasoning. We will not share your data with third party advertisers.

How long will my data be stored?
As far as necessary, we process and store your personal data for the duration of our business relationship, which also includes, for example, the initiation and execution of a contract.
In addition, we are subject to various storage and documentation obligations, which result from the minimum statutory retention periods among others. The retention and documentation periods specified there are up to 6 years.

How do we secure your data?
Our organization and website uses SSL or TLS encryption to ensure the security of data processing and to protect the transmission of content or contact requests that you send to us. We have also implemented numerous security measures (“technical and organisational measures”) for example encryption or need to know access, to ensure the most complete protection of Personal Data processed through this website.

It is necessary for us to process your personal data in order to contact you with these surveys, on the basis of our appropriate business needs and to improve the quality of the healthcare services we offer (as set out under purpose 8 below). Participation in the surveys is entirely voluntary. You may decide not to complete the surveys and you will have the option to unsubscribe from receiving further survey invitations.
